There’s a phrase going around in the common lexicon just now, which I have a sympathy for, but cannot bring myself to use, because of its vulgarity. Captain Jean-Luc Picard of Star Trek: Next Generation has the perfect substitute:

“You may test that assumption at your convenience.”
